About ColorSpark Studio

ColorSpark jewelry ~ elegant, unfussy and easy-to-wear fine handcrafted jewelry with an emphasis on smooth lustrous surfaces and meticulous craftsmanship ~ is made by hand, one piece at a time, in our Virginia studio in the United States.

Our Name

Many of our early designs include Swarovski crystals ~ the finest crystals made. They brilliantly reflect colors and light, giving each crystal an active, always-changing appearance. Those surprising sparks of color give our company its name.

Our Designs

At ColorSpark Studio we create fine handcrafted jewelry designed to enhance each woman's special beauty, and carefully handcraft each piece for long-lasting appeal, value and comfort.

  • We're enthusiastic about Argentium sterling silver because it's so easy to keep tarnish free and ready to wear!
  • We include extender chains on many ColorSpark necklaces so each woman can choose her perfect necklace length.
  • We use precious metals: sterling silver, Argentium sterling silver, 14k gold-fill, and 14k gold.
  • We do not use any silver- or gold-plated material so none of our jewelry contains nickel.
  • We love smooth reflective surfaces: the shiny metals pick up nearby colors and shapes, and make even small earrings lively.

These are some of our general preferences. We continue to experiment with new designs, materials and colors, and expect there may be some surprises ahead.
