How to Take Care of Your Pearl and Crystal Earrings

To keep the crystals shiny and the gold tarnish free, between wearings wrap the earrings in jewelers' anti-tarnish tissue and lay flat in your jewelry box. If the gold starts to look dark, wipe gently with a damp cloth. The earrings should never be immersed in water. That can damage both the pearls and the crystals. If there are fingerprints you can't remove with a cloth, dampen a cotton swab with diluted window cleaner and wipe the crystals gently with that.
