Shipping

Your ColorSpark Jewelry will be shipped within five days (not including weekends and holidays) of placing your order. We'll e-mail you when your order ships. On the rare occasions when shipping within five days is not possible, we'll let you know there's a delay, and why, and when you can expect to receive your order.

We ship via the United States Postal Service. A flat-rate charge of $3.25 for standard shipping within the U.S. and to Canada of any size order is added during the checkout process.

International shipping is temporarily suspended to everywhere except Canada while the Web site is updated with new shipping rates. If you'd like to be notified when international shipping is available, or you're in a hurry to order something, please send an e-mail to . Thank you!

Returns

We want you to be happy with your purchase! If you're not, you can return your item within 30 days from the day you receive it for a refund of the item's cost. To receive a refund, send your item in its original packaging to ColorSpark Studio, P.O. Box 423, Ladysmith, VA 22501. Please include the packing slip (or a copy of it), and indicate on that the reason for your return. We aim to please and always appreciate any advice offered to us about how to do that better.

Quality

We're proud of and stand behind our products. ColorSpark Jewelry is designed and sturdily constructed to hold up when cared for properly and during normal wearing. The pieces are, however, made by hand of natural materials so there are some variables. If your piece of ColorSpark Jewelry breaks or is otherwise damaged by normal wearing during the first year, please let us know. It may be necessary to return your piece so we can fix it (and learn from that) or replace the piece for you.

Our hope is that such a return will never be necessary, but be assured that if it is, we'll be here. The current ColorSpark Studio's domain registration continues until 2014, so we'll be easy to find for many years to come.

Accuracy

We describe each item in detail to give you an accurate “feel” for each piece. Because ColorSpark Jewelry is handcrafted from natural materials, there may be some slight variation in colors or shapes, which is part of the uniqueness and added value of each piece. Also, the photographs of each piece will look slightly different on every computer screen, and the size of the image on your screen may not be the actual size of the item. For that reason, the first feature of each item is the length of the finished piece. Please keep those real-life jewelry sizes in mind when considering your purchase.

Privacy and Protection

All communications are private between you and ColorSpark Studio. We will not sell or give away your e-mail address or any other information. We do not store your credit card information on our computers and, if you use PayPal, we do not even see it. Both physical and software safeguards are used on the computers containing ColorSpark Studio files to keep all information protected.

Security

Your confidential information will be transmitted through a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), which is the software that encrypts files so no one can hijack your information while it's going from your computer to the ColorSpark Studio computer. On this ColorSpark Studio Web site (and on every Web site), the name of the secure files starts with https:// rather than the usual http://. The change to https:// indicates that the information you send will be encrypted and secure as it travels over the Internet.

Safety

ColorSpark Jewelry is designed to be worn by adults. We do not consider ColorSpark Jewelry appropriate for young children. As with most jewelry, the items consist of many small parts, often with sharp edges. In addition, Swarovski crystals are brilliantly reflective because of their high lead content, which is not a hazard when wearing because the process Swarovski uses to create their crystals binds the lead into the finished crystal but, if swallowed, the lead content may be an additional cause for concern.
